After today’s report of web traffic to Palm and Sprint, Andrew Nusca of ZDNet posted the same statistics we examined earlier as well as a small reader poll.

As of now, 89% of poll takers are still interested in the Palm Pre and its release, signaling that the flame hasn’t died out just yet. Many critics of the Pre and Palm have been after the secretive nature regarding the webOS device, and the relative lack of news about the Pre is suggested to be hurting Palm’s chances at a successful launch.
However, as we saw earlier, the consistent traffic to Palm is comparable to the traffic to Apple.com over the months following the announcement of the iPhone. This is a strong indicator that the critics are wrong, and the consumer desire and interest in the Pre are just as healthy as ever.
