As we all know by now, big red will carry the Palm Pre next year, and they have been open about it. And now that the Palm Pixi is out, they might get it too, that would be logical, and with a new Palm device clearing the FCC, well, this keeps getting better.

The folks over at Engadget came across an FCC filing for a CDMA/EVDO Palm device that has not only Bluetooth, but also 802.11b/g WiFi. The model number for this new Palm device is P121EWW, which actually matches the P121VZW model that we saw on leaked images from the folks at PhoneArena.
Now why do we think that this new device is a version of the Palm Pixi? Well, because Sprint’s model number for the Pixi is P120EWW. So, will this be the Palm Pixi version for Verizon? Might as well be, unfortunately for those Sprint Pixi users, this new webOS device will have WiFi. Which is a deal breaker for many smartphone owners, maybe Sprint is counting on their low prices to keep their customers. What do you think?
