Last time we had a decent number of apps released into the App Catalog, was on the launch of the Palm Pre on O2’s network in the UK and Ireland. Yesterday, Palm decided to give us, Pre users, a little over 40 new apps and an update to Evernote.
Yes, it’s like Palm is finally listening to us, or so it would seem. You see, for some reason Palm released plenty of translators and dictionaries. Maybe the release of the unlocked GSM Pre in Gremany has Palm thinking that people from neighboring countries will start getting the unlocked Pre, since those translators and dictionaries are for German, Spanish, English, French, Italian and even Latin languages.
Well, maybe Palm is right, after all, there is already a video documented case of at least one Italian who got his hands on a German unlocked Pre. Now, if only Palm releases some of the most important apps, like Epocrates, Docs2Go and Facebook, just to mention a few, that would be more appreciated.
