A forum member posted yesterday that accessory makers have gotten their poorly-manicured hands on the Palm Pre, and have leaked photos. Apparently, the Pre is in mass production as we speak.

The device is compared to an iPhone and Centro in the photos, and whoever got their disgusting fingers on it claims that the screen is less scratch resistant the the iPhone, but the Pre’s back is MORE resistant to scratches than the iPhone’s.  The photos can not be considered 100% genuine however, as the Pre is missing the Home button in one of the photos. It might be reflection or something else; it can’t really be easily determined

I’m still hoping for that May 17th launch date. If production is going on as we speak, we should see Pre supply meet Pre demand.
