It has been just over a week since the webOS 1.2.1 update came to all of us Pre users in the US. Along with that update we received iTunes sync once again, and with that, the cat and mouse game was on for another round. Well, DoubleTwist has been a solution for many, and now, they integrate seamlessly with the Amazon MP3 Store.

Lets face it, not many of us like iTunes, and Palm and Apple are just messing around with all of us with this cat and mouse game. Although, for those who like iTunes and are customers of the iTunes store, Apple should take that into consideration, there is no harm done really.
With this new solution, you now have access to Amazon’s catalog of over 5 million songs, allowing users to purchase songs either as albums or individual tracks. And if that is not good enough for you there’s also plenty of free songs available.
DoubleTwist’s Music Store is currently available in the Mac version of the app, PC users not need to worry, since the PC version is coming soon, according to doubleTwist. The only bad news is that the store is currently US-only, but doubleTwist says the UK, Germany and France will be included soon.
