We all know a GSM Palm Pre is about to be release in Europe, we are just not sure on the exact date, or price for that matter, but according to O2’s site in Germany it’ll be in Autum. Recently European Palm sites started to display the video teaser named “Morning”, which is another indicator of how close is the release date for the Pre in Europe.

It seems like many people around the world are waiting – or at least following very close – the launch of the first GSM webOS phone from Palm. I guess many of those waiting for the GSM version of the Palm Pre are here in the US, hoping to grab a GSM Pre and try to bring it back to use with T-Mo or AT&T. Either way, Palm fans out there waiting for a GSM Palm Pre, your patience will pay off pretty soon, just not soon enough.

And as we all know, the rumors are still saying October 30th, which we are still keeping an eye on, despite how close that date is. Another important thing is, Pre fans in Germany are able to enter for a chance to win one of ten Pre phones O2 is giving away by answering a question. And according to Dieter at Precentral, you need not to worry “if you get it wrong the first time, O2 is forgiving.”
