We are all ready for the Pre to hit the market, which it will in mere days. Best Buy has announced that it will be offering the Pre at a final price of $199 without $100 mail-in rebate. We all know that the Pre is set to hit stores on June 6, though whether or not you can get one of the few said to be available depends on how early you get to the store.

Sure, you can get the phone for $199 at Sprint stores too, but you have to send in the rebate card and wait months to get your $100 back from Sprint. Best Buy cuts through all that hassle and just gives you the cheap price upfront.

Best Buy also says it will be giving its employees special training on the phone, which hopefully means that they have actually read the user manual. Best Buy reports that the $199 rebate-free deal will be valid at all 1,067 retail stores selling the Pre, at least as long as the two or so rumored to be available per store run out.
