As we all know, many phones are prone to malfunctions and other mishaps, specially if that phone is the first generation of its class. Well, the Palm Pre has had its fair share of mishaps, and we all are very aware of that. But drowning a Pre in a mug of beer, that’s just stupid.

According to the person who recorded this: “This was a coworker’s third Pre in three months as the screen kept cracking. Once while charging and once in his front pocket. The bossman offered to get him an iphone if he killed his Pre. So, there ya go.” But a lot of people are wondering if this was an attempt from Apple or from iPhone blind followers to take away the Pre from possible new buyers. Or maybe this guy just needs to stop wearing tight pants/jeans.

We don’t know, what we know is, that beer looks cheap, the drunken guy with the Pre – as you will see in the video below – looks like a moron, and he might get sick for drinking beer with a cellphone in it. Anyway, Pre owners, be happy that you have a very good phone, since it lasts for over a minute after been dropped in that mug of beer, after that, this Pre went to cellphone’s heaven. May the soul of this Palm Pre rest in peace.
