As promised I downloaded the free demo of Asphalt 5 — a new 3D game on the App Catalog for us webOS users — to my Palm Pre. Let me start by saying that I’m not a big mobile gamer but I do enjoy a few games from time to time, and this free demo is definitely both, fun and addictive.

The free version of Asphalt 5 (by Gameloft) gives you just a few minutes of play on a full functional track, but you have a lot of fun every single second. It also gives you just 2 cars to choose from, an Audi TT RS (my favorite on this demo) and a Nissan 370Z. It weights about 66MB and the full version of this addictive game will cost you $6.99.

Since yesterday I’ve been playing this demo every chance I get and I like it very much, so much that I might just buy the full version. If you have not tried this game I recommend you get it from the App Catalog and start playing, you will not regret it.
