Palm is having a giveaway. The sweepstakes stared at 12:00:00 AM Pacific Time (PT) on July 15, 2009 and will end at 11:59:59 PM PT on January 14, 2010 (the “Promotion Period”). There will be a random drawing conducted at the end of each month during the Promotion Period to award one Grand Prize per month for a total of six Grand Prizes awarded during the Promotion Period.

There are actually two giveaways; one for US residents only, and one for Canadian residents only. US residents can enter the monthly giveaway on Palm’s Facebook page, just log in to Facebook and leave a comment on the “Win a Palm Pre” tab explaining why you need one. The current giveaway runs through August 14, and there will be five more monthly giveaways after that. See the full rules here.

And for the Canadian residents; you have until August 31 to enter a contest to win a (yes, only one, sorry) Palm Pre from Bell Mobility, the exclusive Canadian carrier. You can enter the contest here and check the official rules here. “No Purchase Necessary”, according to Palm.

Of course the phone service, activation and related charges are not included, so they are the responsibility of the winner. Well, if I can get a Free Palm Pre, I would gladly pay for those charges.
