Downloading movies and music is big business for mobile providers and uses gobs of bandwidth. Kazaa has a new movie download service for the Palm Pre. Kazaa was a peer-to-peer site similar to Napster in its early years before RIAA got a hold of it.

The new service will allow Pre users to upload and share standard and HD videos to the Kazaa community. Users will also be able to share other media types like documents, photos, and other content without restriction with the service.

Kazaa says that he Pre was the first device to handle full HD movies form Kazaa. The service now supports any phone that can connect to a PC, not the Pre alone. The Kazaa service is now available for a monthly fee of $19.98.
