I would say that of the phones that have generated lots of buzz so far in 2009, the Pre is one of the most buzzed about. At the same time Windows Mobile, phones haven’t generated an iota of the buzz that Android, the iPhone, and the Pre have.

PC World recons it’s time for Microsoft to throw in the towel and simply buy Palm. Palm and Microsoft together could really rain on Google’s parade. PC World reports that Windows Mobile and the Zune are dead with limited acceptance and Palm is still considered a success with its Pre.
A purchase now says PC World would be a good move and could grab developer support whereas Palm won’t be considered such a success after Christmas. I’m not sure I agree with the lack of success after Christmas for Palm. I don’t think the Pre will really boom until it gets off the Sprint network and onto Verizon in 2010.
