Since Palm released the Mojo SDK, they put a big smile on many faces. Then along came Geniutech, who released a Palm Pre version of MobiOne, which gave a bigger smile to users and developers alike. Now, Geniutech has launched a new version of MobiOne for the Palm Pre smartphone.

Geniutech’s new version of MobiOne, is the company’s emulator and developer environment app for Windows. This new version includes a cool Palm Pre emulator. That way, developers can run web apps through the emulator so they can optimize them for WebOS and the Palm Pre.
Genuitec’s MobiOne is the emerging standard for mobile device development, and currently includes an iPhone simulator, which has no need for the iPhone SDK. And they promise to have other popular smartphone emulators coming soon, like a Blackberry Storm simulator and a Google G1 emulator.
So what do you think? Do you have what it takes to start programming for the Pre? According to Geniutech: “By leveraging existing technologies and resources, learning new programming languages and processes for popular devices is unnecessary. It’s more simple than you think.”
MobiOne is currently available for Windows only. And it is available as a free download here.
