As you might remember, Verizon is getting the Palm Pre Plus and most likely a Plus version of the Palm Pixi as well early this year. And apparently now, there’s a leaked spec sheet that might have been outed by an insider, and it has some juicy information about those two upcoming devices.
One of the most important things about the information on this spec sheet, is the onboard memory for each webOS handset. As we all know, our Sprint Palm Pre devices have only 8GB of inside memory, the Pre Plus headed for Big Red will have double that; 16GB.
Sprint’s Palm Pixi has only 4GB of internal memory, and Verizon’s Pixi Plus will have 8GB of onboard storage. Not only that, but it will also have something the Pixi on Sprint doesn’t have, and that’s WiFi. Yes I know this was going to happen sooner or later, but it doesn’t feel right for all of us who got the first Palm Pre. But we all have to understand, that’s what we we have to face with technology.
