It feels amazing. The keyboard, while slimmed down, responds well and is amazingly accurate. The keyboard shortcuts allow you to cut, copy and paste with ease, and the touch screen feels incredibly responsive. Dare I say it, even more accurate than the iPhone.
The Pre’s text selection allows you to select the text without having your finger directly over it like the iPhone. By holding down the shift key, you’re able to select text, much like on a computer. You have your standard edit menus for all the cut copy and paste options, but also the keyboard shortcuts to make it nice and easy.
The keyboard felt solid. I loved the feel and the keys were the perfect amount of response. Typing was a dream. I was able to type faster on the smaller keyboard on the Pre than I could on an iPhone.
The swipe up feature to change cards was a natural gesture. It felt good and responded as promised. The overall feel of the Pre was perfect. The size and slim profile were ideal, and fit well in my hands. The home button and gesture area also became a second-nature feature, where I found myself naturally going to them in only a few seconds.
