At first, it looked like the ragged band of Palm Pre fans would have very little information to survive off of, but the good powers above provided them with sustenance beyond their expectations as a reward for their faith and patience. Aherm, basically what I’m talking about is the seemingly abysmal amount of Pre news, and then just a few days ago, the massive deluge of information we were given. As a result, there’s a ton of ground to cover this week, so listen up.
THE PALM PRE LAUNCHES JUNE 6TH FOR $199! In case you’ve been living in a cave the last week, I’ll repeat it one more time. JUNE 6TH! That’s right, Palm and Sprint announced that the Pre will launch just two days before Apple’s WWDC, possibly in an attempt to steal some thunder away from our favorite fruit.
Yet how they plan on doing that with only 30,000 devices is beyond me. And the rumors that Best Buy will only have about 4500 to distribute across the national chain is going to make for some interesting delays in getting this device into the hands of the public.

Have a SERO plan? Sorry, you’re going to have to change to Sprint’s new plan series if you want the Pre. I know it is frustrating, but at least it isn’t AT&T.
In other news, we got a look at the available accessories for the Pre, and we learned that the battery life of the device will provide for 5 hours of talk time.
We got some great previews of numerous applications and we’re seeing the multiple high-profile developers making their applications for webOS.
Vincent is one lucky devil. He gets to travel to Hollywood for his close up with Dan Hesse…I mean, for the Pre launch party. Maybe he’ll meet Angelina Jolie?
