NaNplayer for the Palm Pre, Coming Soon to the App Catalog?

For those of us that enjoy ownership of the Palm Pre, listening to our tunes on it is second nature by now, or at least for most of us anyway. But there are a few gripes about the included music player on the Pre. Don’t get me wrong, it is elegant and I like it, but there’s stuff it can’t do.

Fret no more, homebrew to the rescue! A forum member at Precentral that goes by the name of Blubble, has another option, he calls it; NaNplayer. It is a standard music player, but with a simple and clean user interface. One of the key features NaNplayer has is the ability to create playlists right on your Pre. That’s something the stock music app doesn’t have. And also, the NaNplayer loads up faster then the stock music player.

Another cool and unique feature NaNplayer has, is a location-based playlist. With this location playlist you can assign GPS coordinates to a playlist. That way when you’re in that specific area, you can easily pull out your Pre, run the app and listen to your music, like music for the Gym, or the beach, or maybe relaxing tunes to sooth your nerves at the office, etc. According to Precentral, Blubble looks to release NaNplayer in the official App Catalog when the time comes.
