So, as we all know the launch of the Palm Pre in Europe, more specifically, in Germany was yesterday. And Palm decided to give us and the new German Pre users more apps. Thank you Palm, now please, keep them coming.

At first we received two apps in German, ran and VZ-Netzwerke, both free apps, which arrived in the App Catalog early in the morning of yesterday. But for some reason they were pulled out, maybe it has to do with a statement on O2’s German website. The statement says that, there will be apps in the German App Catalog that will not be included in the US App Catalog, and vice versa.
The Weather Channel also came to the App Catalog as a free app. After those three, five more applications made their way into the Catalog, one of them is SPIEGEL ONLINE by SPIEGEL-Verlag Rudolf, the other four are:
My Loaned Items by MobiChimp $1.99: It allows you to instantly record items that you loan to friends, family and colleagues. Send out automatic reminders via SMS from the applications to let borrowers know your stuff is due back.
TechTray by KlikTray,LLC $0.99: An RSS feed reader that allows you to quick browse headlines from 25 of the top news technology sites.
Match’em by Dynaptic $0.99: A classic concentration game featuring a beautiful space theme. Try to match all the tiles as quickly as possible.
billiger.de by solute gmbh Free: Price comparison for more than 2500 shops in Germany.
