As we all know, lately, Palm has been releasing new apps into the Catalog every Thursday. This time Palm missed the Thursday mark and released new apps until today, Friday. Unfortunately, there was no webOS 1.2 with those new apps, not even paid apps.

Yesterday I kept on checking the App Catalog as well as the Updates icons on my Pre, trying to see new apps and the new webOS update I never found them. But this morning I got lucky, or so I thought, when I notice 14 new apps in the Catalog, but then, it became obvious, the Catalog still in “BETA” and the app number still on 50, when the actual number is up to 97 with today’s batch. So, we did get new apps, but no paid apps and no webOS update.
Now lets hope for Palm to have a good reason for this. We all know there were several sites with rumors from tipsters saying webOS 1.2 got delayed, but many of us were in denial, hoping those tipsters were wrong. Now it appears those tipsters were right after all, and we have to look out not only for “Holy” Thursdays now, but also Fridays to find new app releases or updates.
Here’s a list of the new apps:
