Notify Technology Corporation, a company headquartered in San Jose California, has announced that it has enhanced its NotifyLink On-Premise and On-Demand versions to support the new Palm Pre. Notify has been a Palm development partner for many years and has supported all previous versions of the Palm Treo. And now, they are committed to support all future Palm webOS based devices including the recently announced Palm Pixi.

According to Paul DePond, President and Founder of Notify Technology: “The customer demand for supporting the new Palm Pre devices using our NotifyLink solution has continued to escalate.” DePond also said, “we are able to offer any size commercial, government, and educational customer additional functionality with their new Palm Pre devices.” The support for the Palm Pre at this time is only available on the Sprint and Bell Canada networks, as well as any 802.11x wireless network.
NotifyLink’s functionality for the Palm Pre will include wireless synchronization of email and PIM (calendar, contacts, and tasks) and enhanced security features such as: password strength, minimum password length, inactivity timeout, and the wipe of a Palm Pre after a number of failed unlock attempts. When connecting to your Palm Pre with NotifyLink’s On-Premise and On-Demand solutions, you will have the option to use a “direct push” or “scheduled push” connection. Meanwhile all delivery of information to and from your Pre is encrypted utilizing SSL.
