Palm has announced a new VIP launch event for the Pre smartphone and it is playing many of the details close to the vest. Palm is only saying that the event is being held tomorrow at 7 p.m. PT in Hollywood.

If you live in the area and feel like crashing the party the event is at Raleigh Studios Hollywood located at 5300 Melrose. Palm is hosting the event and it will be emceed by Jason Alexander, better known as George from Seinfeld.

Palm says that one of the world’s most famous and successful comedians will be performing at the event, but declined to say who the guest performer actually was. The event is billed as a VIP affair benefiting the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America it’s invite only. I bet the attendees will each get a Pre too.
