One of our forum members discovered that palm posted on their developer network blog about the response to the SDK application.  Palm states that the response it received has been overwhelming, and that they’ve slowly started to grant access to the SDK to developers, starting last week with the first group, and this week was another group.

Palm is taking feedback from the developers to learn how to tweak the SDK so it will better suit the developer’s needs. It’s a learning experience for them both at this point, since the platform, while using common programming languages, is still very new.

Palm says that these developers will help them build their support network for when they open the SDK up to the rest of the world so that there will be resources and support for users from the start.
