We recently learnt that Canada’s Bell Mobility employees were training with the Palm Pre. Now it’s official, Bell Mobility announced yesterday that Palm Pre will be available at its retail locations in Canada on August 27.

If you live in Canada and like to buy the Palm Pre, Bell is accepting pre-orders at both, retail locations and their website. The Pre smartphone will be priced at $199.95 on a three-year contract with a minimum data plan of 500mb. Without a contract the price goes up to $599.95.
Wade Oosterman, president of Bell Mobility and chief brand officer for Bell, said:
We’re very excited to bring the revolutionary Palm Pre and the Palm webOS mobile platform to Canadians exclusively on Bell’s national wireless network, the largest high-speed 3G network in Canada.
Considering the highly successful US introduction of the Palm Pre by Sprint in June, and fast-growing Palm Pre buzz among Canadian mobile users, Bell and our retail partners are preparing for high demand for this breakthrough phone.
