Palm Pre for $100 at Sprint?

Okay, so far we have seen our fair share of price drops, price errors, real deals and what not. We even had word from a tipster to Precentral about a price drop for the Palm Pre to $150 starting today until October 31st 2009. But today we bring news from Sprint/Nextel itself. For a limited time only, you might be able grab a Pre for $100.

We have confirmed that the tipster at Precentral was right, but only for customers lucky enough to be in the iPCS service area. iPCS is the Sprint PCS Affiliate of Sprint Nextel with exclusive rights to sell wireless products and services under the Sprint brand in portions of Illinois, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Iowa, Ohio and Tennessee.

Also, browsing Sprint.com we have also notice the Palm Pre is been lowered in price to new customers who are willing to port their number over from another carrier. Sprint is offering a $100 service credit on top of the other instant discounts and mail in rebates we already know about. To be eligible for this promotion, you must purchase the Pre along with the 2-year service agreement and one of the everything data plans. After that Sprint will apply a $100 credit to your monthly bill over a 3-month period.

The funny part of this, is that there are two different ending dates to this offer, check image above. One begins today and runs through October 10th. And the other one ends on October 31st, depending on which page of Sprint’s site you’re looking at.
