Today is the day Palm enthusiasts are able to buy the Palm Pre Plus or Pixi Plus from another carrier in the US; Verizon Wireless. You can call Verizon or go online to http://www.verizonwireless.com, but if you prefer a mortar and brick store there’s always Best Buy and big red itself.

As you can see on the image above, if you buy a new Palm Pre Plus you can also get a Pixi Plus for free, or buy a Pixi Plus and get another one free. The price is no surprise, $149.99 for the Pre Plus and $99.99 for the Pixi Plus, after a 2 year agreement of course. Online and at Best Buy you get the instant $100 rebate which turns into a mail in rebate if you buy them in-store at big red.

Earlier reports mentioned (and you can also see it on the image below) that at first, Verizon didn’t offer a free Pixi Plus when you got a Pre Plus, but rather other three phones. Good thing they changed that, now if they could also have some advertising for these two great webOS devices. Are you getting either one of them today? If you do, you’ll never regret it!
