Some out there really like the look and feel of the Palm Pre UI, but just can’t bring themselves to get a Pre. This could be because of not wanting to change to Sprint or it could be that they are just weird.

There has been an Android skin that makes the UI of Android devices look like the Pre. Palm has taken to legal means to stop the Android team from using a skin that uses Pre wallpapers and icons directly from webOS.

Palm used copyright and trademark violations to get the Skin pulled form Android. There appears to be no suit to go along with the long and drawn out legal complaint that ultimately simply wanted the theme removed. A similar iPhone theme was pulled as well.
