At the end of July we had OpenTable and Fliq Bookmarks as the latest addition to the App Catalog. Then recently we had Blackout, Spades, and Echo. Which I didn’t post about since I was waiting for more apps to show up. Well, good news everyone.

Lets talk about those three apps first. Blackout is a puzzle game where you try to turn off all of the lights on a board. Then we have Spades, which is ad supported, and, as you may have guessed, is a card game. The third is Echo – which is Windows-only and works over WiFi – and is Chapura’s new solution for syncing your Palm Pre with Palm’s own Palm Desktop software. It’s a 7-day trial, after that you’ll need to pay $29.95.
Now with the new apps:
* Word Ace: Game which combines the betting and strategy of Texas Hold’em and the mental challenge of a word game (like Scrabble).
* Mileage Monitor: This one helps keep track of fuel efficiency for your vehicles.
* Bubbles!: A puzzle game where you find connected regions of bubbles of the same color and pop them.
* ESPN Zoom: A photo hunt game featuring great sports photos and ESPN/sports themed music.
* Kosher2Go: Provides access to over 2700 kosher establishments in over 50 countries.
* Shabbat Shalom: Allows you check the candle lighting times, like Havdalah and Parsha.
Alright Palm! Now please keep them coming more often, and in more quantities of course! What do you think? Which apps do you want? Let us know in the comments section. And don’t forget to enjoy the weekend with these new apps. I know a lot of us will be using the Mileage Monitor app very often.
