A few days ago we talked about Palm’s sponsorship of Peter Mehlman’s “Narrow World of Sports”, a series of webisodes on YouTube beginning August 9. One of the first guests was Olympic gold medalist and Dancing With the Stars champion Shawn Johnson.

In his interview with basketball legend Kobe Bryant, Peter covers everything from tipping the refs to foreign policy. Kobe proves hes a superstar on and off the court. Then, Mehlman meets Shawn. In this interview with famed Olympic gold medalist Shawn Johnson, Peter can’t help but ask, When you’re on a first date, do you wear the gold or the silver? Shawn scores a perfect 10 as she dances her way through her most unique interview to date.

And this round couldn’t be complete without Boston Red Sox first baseman Kevin Youkilis. Here Peter kicks back by the pool and interviews Kevin Youkilis. “Youk” educates Peter on the difference between athletes and baseball players and what its like to be good in the locker room. Palm is also spending money on front page ad space in YouTube. And those little box ads you see on every page; that is serious money and you can bet on it.
