After that story PC World ran the other day saying that the Pre was the next big thing in a limited way, I admit I expected its review to be dashed with ample amounts of hateraide. To my surprise, the Pre got a very good review with a score of 83%.

The reviewer says that the phone is well shaped and fits easily into the pocket of jeans, even the tight sort many women prefer. The keyboard draws criticism with the reviewer saying Palm sacrificed usability for a compact design.

The webOS used by the Pre drew raves and was called the sexiest and most well designed smartphone platforms to come along in a long while. The unified contacts menu drew its share of ire with the review finding it overwhelming. The reason is that it drew in a lot of Facebook friends that aren’t really friends. Where have we heard that issue before?
