The staff at PCWorld put togheter a list of the best products of the year, called “PC World Top 100″. The Palm Pre was honored with the 14th place. For most of us Pre owners, it should’ve been number one, but, oh well, it wasn’t up to us anyway.

Between the AMD processor called Phenom II, which made number 13th on the list, and the famous e-book reader; the Amazon Kindle 2 (number 15 on the list). There it was, with a little description, on the 14th spot, our beloved Palm Pre.
Here’s what PCWorld had on their description of item # 14 of the Top 100 of 2009:
14. Palm Pre (smartphone, $150 with two-year Sprint contract) The Pre wowed us with its engaging (and fun to use) WebOS software and eye-catching hardware. Thanks to the Pre’s responsive multitouch screen, its intuitive gesture-based controls, and WebOS’s beautiful way of organizing information, this smartphone is a pleasure to use. The keyboard may not be perfect, but that’s a minor trade-off for everything else the Pre offers.
