Developer meetings are something that happens with lots of pomp and fanfare for some phone makers. Look at the Apple WWDC where many new products are introduced as proof. Microsoft also unveils some of its new products and services at its developer’s conferences.

The Pre has its first East coast developer’s conference going on today in New York City. The conference is hosted by a web development firm called Blueswitch that has been working with Windows Mobile applications. The company has now begun to focus on the Pre and the iPhone.
The inaugural Pre conference has 75 registered attendees. The conference will have a guest speaker Eric Marthinsen a partner at Agile Commerce in Lexington, Mass. Agile is the firm that created the FlightView application for the Pre.
