The apps for the Palm Pre are begin announced with much more frequency now. Today we get the new Citysearch app for the Pre that lets users get information on businesses and read reviews from the Pre smartphone.

The app lets users browse, search and share local business info on Twitter along with allowing users to post reviews to Citysearch in real-time. The app takes advantage of some of the Pre webOS services like the location aware nature of the phone to find local restaurants, banks, or movies and provides directions with Google Maps.

The app is also integrates with the users local tools allowing the submission of reviews on local restaurants, bars, salons and other businesses. Your location is automatically found when the app is open via the Pre’s GPS capability and users can text or email business listings to other users directly from the Pre. The app is available now free of charge on the on-device beta App Catalog.
