One of the things that I have never had much personal use for is VoIP. I don’t; use it on my computer and I have never felt the need to give VoIP a shot on my mobile phone. Some people feel differently though and if you are a Pre user you will have several VoIP choices soon.

One app coming is called Voxofon and it is on schedule to be the first native Pre VoIP app and is expected to hit market later this year. IM+ is already available for the Pre and allows users to take advantage of Skype.

IM+ for the Pre can be accessed by going to s4palm.com reports DigitalBeat. The online app lets users call Skype contacts for free and is compatible with the paid SkypeOut service for calling mobile or landlines. Voxofon is aimed at users wanting to make cheap international calls.
