Before the iPhone launched mobile gaming was not appealing to me. The graphics were horrible on most devices and the controls were bad as well. Thankfully the iPhone helped usher in a plethora of mobile devices with serious gaming chops.

PopCap is one of the kings of casual games. The company has an entire catalog of games that players can play for free online or purchase as a download. JKontheRun reports that an audio interview with PopCap’s PR director has surfaced that says PopCap games are coming to the Pre.

In the interview Garth Chouteau said, “We have plans to support the Pre, as well as Android. There are games in the works for those devices.” That’s not quite a definitive timeline for a launch, but it’s nice to know some of the most popular games from PopCap may make their way to the Pre.
