Another application that, as far as we can tell, Palm only showed to us, was FlightView. It’s an interesting application that allows you to track flights and give you live flight information.

If you’re waiting for a friend or loved one’s flight, FlightView will give you up-to-minute information and live tracking on their flight on a map.

The application also incorporates the GPS API and determines your location and closest airport. Of course, all the flight information and airport location can be set manually. Considering this application is already ON the Pre, and I paid $9.99 for the same exact application on my iPod Touch, well I’m happy and a bit miffed, but oh well.
