We went back for a third time to see the Palm Pre, because let’s face it, we can’t get enough of that device. This time, Sprint and Palm showed us something that they were unsure if it would work indoors: the Navigation. It looks sweet.

If you’ve experienced Sprint Navigation by TeleNav, you’ll know that it’s one of the best navigation applications on mobile devices outside of having an actual GPS device. The Sprint Navigation on the Pre is no exception. It looks gorgeous on the display, and using it is easier than ever with the touch screen and QWERTY keyboard. Amazingly, the Pre was able to get an exact GPS lock even though we were deep inside the Las Vegas convention center. That’s why Sprint was hesitant at first, but their worries were unfounded as the Pre delivered beyond their expectations.
Check out the video below (which to our knowledge is the only one) and see for yourself. Although it was a little slow in getting the lock, due to being indoors and practically below ground in an undisclosed nuclear fall-out shelter (just kidding), it eventually gave us what we were looking for.
