The Palm Pixi keeps on making headlines, this time, at The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where Christmas came a bit early, when Ellen gave away Pixi smartphones to her screaming audience. This happened on the taping of today’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, as part of the show’s “12 Days of Giveaways”.

Each member of the studio audience went crazy (screaming, crying, you know, the usual) when they were told they’d be receiving their own Palm Pixi. The now famous “12 Days of Giveaways” is a part of the show where Ellen gives away stuff to the audience before the Christmas holiday. On today’s giveaway, she went all out with gadgets that would make dreams come true for many.
Everybody in the audience got a Barnes & Noble Nook eReader – which is not on the market yet – a Powermat wireless charger – that way the audience doesn’t need a Touchstone – a MiFi portable wireless router, a Nokia Booklet netbook with two months of AT&T service, and, as we mentioned above, the one and only, the Palm Pixi. Now, I don’t really need a B&N eReader, but I can really put to good use the rest of the stuff, it’s a shame my wife wasn’t at the show.
So enjoy the video below, but be warned, there’s stuff you won’t be able to hear thanks to the screaming audience.
