An internal email was sent out to Sprint employees discussing the upcoming training for the Palm Pre. While this is good news for us, the Pre still probably won’t drop until May, as per my prediction.

The email states “employees can expect training to start in April as well as multiple communications to get them excited an ready to help our customers.” I have a feeling that they’re going to take the whole month to get all their employees trained before the launch.  This will take a few weeks, but it will ensure that the Sprint people are competent enough to train everyone on the functions of the Pre.

The email goes on to state “I would like to inform that Sprint is in the process of providing the training for the new Palm Pre. Once it’s launched, Sprint will be ready to serve their valued customers regarding the Palm Pre. ” I’m glad to hear Sprint is concerned with customer training and satisfaction.  This is just another little scrap from Palm and Sprint’s table to keep us tied over until the Pre launches.
