According to a leaked End-of-Life (EOL) document from Sprint, the carrier expects to have stock of the Palm Pre by March 15th, paving the way for a possible launch that month.  The EOL document is used to alert Sprint employees to which devices are being phased out, together with the expected in-stock and final-stock dates for warehouse supplies.

According to the document, the Pre is considered to be a replacement to the blue Palm 755P, which will go out of stock in late May.  It also suggests that the Palm Treo Pro will launch around February 15th, replacing the Palm 800W which will phase out in April.

Palm themselves have only committed to a US launch in the first half of 2009, with with both manufacturer and carrier refusing to be drawn on anything more specific.  A European announcement about the availability of the GSM Palm Pre has been tentatively predicted for Mobile World Congress later this month.
