Sprint’s CEO may be concerned about Palm Pre stock shortages, but that doesn’t mean they want to have leftover handsets waiting around at the end of the day.  According to the BGR, this simple flier tips Sprint store’s changed opening hours, with the retail locations opening an hour early at 8am.

That should give employees an extra hour to work through the lines of people expected to form to pick up the Pre on June 6th.  Also worth noting, if you’re generally found hanging around Sprint stores close to closing time on a Friday night, is that they’re shutting early on June 5th, at 4pm in fact. 

We’re assuming that’s to work through new stock and promotional material, get one last glimpse through the employee training manual so they can answer questions the next day, and of course hug each other in excitement.  The changes are apparently nationwide, so if you’re thinking of picking up a Pre on June 6th, bear that in mind when you make travel arrangements.
