Just last week the Palm App Catalog had a little over 1400 applications on there, and now the Catalog has 1549 apps. It looks like Palm is on the right track bringing more applications to us Pre and Pixi users here in the US, now they need to do the same for the webOS users in other countries.

As you all know, Palm keeps on bringing new paid and free applications to the App Catalog almost every day. Last time we had 1368 apps -- here in the US -- and by now the number of apps in the Catalog has gone up, and there are also many apps receiving updates.

Classic is the app for the Palm Pre that emulates the older Palm OS, allowing apps for older devices to run on webOS for the Pre. And the last time we had something from MotionApps, was when they had a video that featured HotSync via Wi-Fi connection.

Finally the Palm Pre is on Canadian hands, it wasn't long ago we brought news of the official launch. Well, yesterday was the big day for our neighbors up north. And to celebrate, Palm released four new apps. Lets face it, we didn't feel good with only 41 apps in the App Catalog.
