The staff of PreThinking was watching a 43 minute walk through of the Pre from tnkgirl and they found this interesting little bit of information slip from one of the Palm reps: "The Touchstone is the name of a entire line of products. This is the first Touchtone product in that family. This is the charging dock."

We went back for a third time to see the Palm Pre, because let's face it, we can't get enough of that device. This time, Sprint and Palm showed us something that they were unsure if it would work indoors: the Navigation. It looks sweet.

It seems that after the BIG ANNOUNCEMENT today at the Web 2.0 Summit of the early SDK, Palm also confirmed that a third party developer will be supporting Legacy PalmOS applications.
"Classic" is an application designed by MotionApps and will allow users to use the legacy PalmOS applications. Obviously, no word on availability.
It seems the rumors weren't completely off, although the ...

Another application that, as far as we can tell, Palm only showed to us, was FlightView. It's an interesting application that allows you to track flights and give you live flight information.
If you're waiting for a friend or loved one's flight, FlightView will give you up-to-minute information and live tracking on their flight on a map.
The application also incorporates the ...

I have Sprint TV on my Instinct, and it's been rough going. There have been numerous updates for it, and they've never really hashed out all the bugs. Not true on the Pre. Sprint TV was clear and smooth. It was beautiful really.
We were watching ABC Mobile TV on the Pre's gorgeous display, and it looked good. I would actually ...
