Now that Palm has finally come to their senses bringing 3D games to the webOS platform -- they made the announcement of this great news at CES 2010. They will be present at the 2010 Game Developers Conference, even though their new Plug-in Development Kit (PDK) is limited to a few select developers for now.

Before the iPhone launched mobile gaming was not appealing to me. The graphics were horrible on most devices and the controls were bad as well. Thankfully the iPhone helped usher in a plethora of mobile devices with serious gaming chops.

I have some fond memories from long ago of playing Doom at a friend's computer. I remember at the time that I though the game had the best graphics ever. Most mobile phones and even those cheap kids games often have better graphics today.
