Many of us, if not all, are waiting for Google Latitude to show up on our Palm webOS devices, but Google is taking time. Last time Google did some improvements and updated Google Maps for the Palm Pre was back in October, but no Latitude love. That could be changing soon though.

With the new update to webOS, we also received an update to the Google Maps app on our Palm Pre phones, or at least that's when many of us notice it. The updated Google Maps app now allows you to choose what kind of route you would like to use: driving, mass transit, or walking. I can't speak for everyone ...

Okay, okay, so a lot of people think the Palm Pre commercials are creepy while there are others who don't believe that, we get it. And most - if not all - of us agree that Sprint's commercials for the Pre are cool and the best out there for this Palm smartphone.

Google Maps is available for just about every smartphone on the market. The application has all sorts of features to help you get where you need to go and more. I have used Google Maps several times to get from one place to another when I was traveling.
