Recently we had news from PhoneArena about two mystery Palm devices apparently heading to Verizon Wireless. Now, Precentral has news from an anonymous tipster, about two more Palm handsets, this time not for Verizon but Sprint. Both of these new devices have a price of $1, which more likely is a placeholder, so I wouldn't get to excited.

Certainly by now most, if not all of you know the code name for the Palm Pre is P100. Now one of PhoneArena's most loyal tipsters has just shared some "spicy info" with them. As you can see on the images below, there's no doubt they are Palm devices, but there are only clues on which ones.

The Pre hasn't even hit shelves yet, and already people are talking about Sprint's exclusivity agreement in the US expiring. Verizon turned heads yesterday when they bluntly revealed that they have their eye on offering the new Palm smartphone too; blunt enough to prompt a similarly terse retort from Sprint's spokesperson.

The Palm Pre will launch on Bell Mobility in Canada in the second half of 2009, according to the latest in the company's staged smartphone roll-out. No specific launch date has been confirmed, but the handset is the same 3G EVDO Rev.A device as is set to hit Sprint before the end of June.
