Just last week the Palm App Catalog had a little over 1400 applications on there, and now the Catalog has 1549 apps. It looks like Palm is on the right track bringing more applications to us Pre and Pixi users here in the US, now they need to do the same for the webOS users in other countries.

Finally, Verizon wireless is advertising the Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus, that's great news for us webOS followers. But for some reason the carrier wants to enlist our Moms to the webOS platform, saying that these two smartphones are "smart enough for Mom" (see image below).
