After the blurry shot of the second Palm webOS device earlier today, now we have a far better look at the QWERTY handset. Apparently called the Palm Eos, the device will be a quadband GSM/HSDPA smartphone measuring just 10.6mm thick and with a 2.63-inch 320 x 400 capacitive touchscreen.

The Palm Pre will use capacitive multitouch panels developed and manufactured by Cypress Semiconductor, if Taiwanese rumors are to be believed. While Palm themselves declined to answer our questions regarding suppliers during the Pre launch briefing, Cypress are said to be the company's sole supplier.
