The Plam Pre is doing well for the manufacturer. Exactly how well it is down really depends on who you talk to. Palm remains mum on the number of Pres sold since it launched, but we do know from several sources that sales have leveled out.

Palm are tipped to be preparing webOS 1.1, the first significant upgrade to the Pre's software platform, for release within a month. Palm have announced that the GSM version of the Palm Pre will be exclusively available on O2 in the UK, Ireland and Germany, and Movistar in Spain. The smartphone will apparently be hitting shelves "in time for the [Christmas] holidays."

Palm have apparently confirmed that they will be making an announcement next week regarding the UK version of the Palm Pre. The news, says T3, will include which network has won exclusivity for the GSM handset in the UK, when exactly it will be available, and at what price.
