It seems like we've been waiting for webOS 1.4 for some time now, but according to PreCentral the much-anticipated update will begin to roll out come February 25th. That new date comes from a Verizon source, suggesting at the very least Pre Plus and Pixi Plus availability; there's no word on when Palm Pre and Pixi handsets on Sprint will ...

We have seen the price for the Palm Pre drop before, either by mistake or for a legit special sale. But in this occasion, a tipster at Precentral brings news about the new pricing for the Pre starting tomorrow Sep. 8th. Now, like any other tip, this should be taken with a little grain of salt.
According to the tipster who ...

The guys at EverythingPre were sent a tip via Twitter and the pictures that they have are definitely legitimate.
The photo is displaying what YouTube will look like on the Palm Pre. The site looks refined, even though the photo is grainy. This really makes me want a Palm Pre.
Hopefully this means we're getting closer to a launch date, since we're ...

It's a bit more than I was hoping, but it looks like the Touchstone is going to run consumers a nice $70 in order to get the wonders of wireless charging for their Pre. The $70 gets you the special battery cover for inductive charging as well, which makes up a good $15 of the cost. No information on the ...

We got the word at SlashGear of some photos of the Pre in the wild at some Parade. We took a look at them, and well, they're a little suspicious. Head on over to take a look and see for yourself.
There was also word from Engadget that Sprint will be launching the Pre no earlier then May 17th. This is ...

In addition to the internal email that was sent out by Sprint, there is now word that Sprint is instituting a vacation freeze in May preparing for a preliminary launch of the Palm Pre on May 17th. There are generally no vacation freezes in May according to Sprint sources, so this lends credence to the information.
The "preliminary" term is applied ...

There are a ton of rumors hitting the Pre forums across the internet stating that the Pre is going to launch on April 15th, also known as the day you realized you didn't get your taxes done. That's 7 days away folks. I'm sorry, but as much as I want the Pre, this isn't going to happen.
Considering Sprint and Palm ...

The Palm announcement at 5pm PST today might be to announce PalmOS Application support or webOS. This is JUST A RUMOR, but the Palm rep I asked replied "I can't say anything about that." But she was awfully smiley about it all.
I had been expecting some sort of huge announcement from Palm, something to put the Pre over the top ...

Sorry to kill your hopes. It turns out that Palm and Sprint have no plans to launch the Pre on April 30th. It seems our Twitter friend was spreading inaccurate rumors. First things first; Palm says the launch date is more of a window, with the only thing set in stone is that they will have the phone out by ...

A self-proclaimed Palm Pre beta tester, Jim Van, claimed on Twitter that the Sprint has a tentative launch date of April 30th for the Pre. Van says that it's a "line in the sand" and isn't final, but that his source is usually dead on.
This would put the launch of the Pre well within the promised Q2 release period, and ...
