Before everyone starts to make fun of this, or worse, starts to bash me because of this, I got to say that I am in no way dissing the second webOS phone. This is, apparently, a true story, something that happened to a guy named Peter Ha.
According to Peter, he came home and found out he had a Palm Pixi waiting for him. For some reason he didn’t like the Pixi, and I can’t blame him, each and everyone of us is different, and we like different things. Anyway, this is what you’ll read on his twitter: “Come home to find a Palm Pixi waiting for me. Not entirely underwhelmed by it. Dig webOS. Hardware is better than Pre. No Wi-Fi=fail.”
Like I said, to each, his own, he does like webOS, but not the Palm Pixi. So he goes on with his day, but later that afternoon, he discovers that the webOS phone he is using, actually wants to be a Palm Pre. And he took a picture to prove it, as you can see on the image above. Many have laughed about this, but lets be honest; it could be an honest mistake. Or, since Peter did not like his Pixi, he changed the signature, which you can do, and decide to stick it to the Pre’s little brother for not having WiFi.
Anyways, there it is folks, you decide what might have happened to this particular Pixi. Or better yet, if you are the owner of a Pixi, let us know in the comments what’s the signature on your smartphone. If it says Pre, then it might be software related.
